Things that Puzzle you?

In the Bible when you see a word in italics that means that the word has been added by the translator to make coherence or logical sense in the Bible text. For example:

2 Timothy 3:16 “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is  profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness”

Each book of the Bible is divided up into chapters and each chapter is divided up into verses. 1 John 1:9 means the book of 1 John, chapter 1, verse 9.
